At the Poverty Circle, we strive to provide all aspects of how poverty is affecting our American Culture. Poverty can be painful and hopeless to the families that are suffering. We strive to put an end to that, but first, we’d like to share a collection of stories and writings from real people in our everyday society.

Tracie McMillan is a college graduate with a degree in Journalism. As a graduated student, no one ever thought she’d be poor and living on food stamps. In her piece, she writes about what poor actually looks like and how we can overcome adversity.
